The Ole Miss Rebels and the Vanderbilt Commodores face off on Saturday in their regular season SEC college basketball finale.
The Ole Miss Rebels have lost six of their last seven games and have played their way out of the NCAA Tournament. Mississippi is 11-5 at home and 8-9 in SEC play. Marshall Henderson leads the Rebels in scoring averaging 19 points per game. Jarvis Summers is averaging 17 points, LaDarius White is averaging 7.5 points, and Anthony Perez is averaging 7.4 points. Ole Miss is averaging 75.5 points and they are shooting 41.9 percent while defensively they are allowing 73.2 points and their opponents are shooting 42.3 percent. Mississippi won the SEC Tourney last year and they will need to win this year if they hope to go back to the NCAA Tournament.

The Vanderbilt Commodores have lost four of their last five games and they sit in 10th place in the SEC standings. Vandy is 7-10 in the SEC and 5-8 in games played away from home this season. Rod Odom leads the Commodores averaging 13.8 points and 5.3 rebounds per game. Kyle Fuller is averaging 11.3 points, Damian Jones is averaging 11.1 points and 5.6 rebounds, and James Siakam is averaging 7.5 points and 5.4 rebounds. Vanderbilt is averaging 64.6 points and they are shooting 43.2 percent while defensively they are allowing 65 points and their opponents are shooting 40.3 percent. This has clearly been a rebuilding year for Vandy.
Ole Miss is 5-2 against the spread in their last seven home games, 7-0 against the spread following a loss by 20 or more points, and 4-1 against the spread in their last five games after allowing 90 or more points their previous game. Vanderbilt is 13-6 against the spread in their last 19 road games, 1-4 against the spread following a loss, and 11-5 against the spread in their last 16 road games against a team with a winning home record. The road team has covered the point spread in six of he last seven meetings of these two.
