The Temple Owls make the long trip south to end the season with the South Florida Bulls.
As a Temple fan I am simply not accustomed to all the losing we have seen in 2013-14 with the Owls in a three way tie for the basement in the AAC. I suppose this is rebuilding at it's worse with most of the production from a year ago gone. The Owls are hoping to head into the conference tourney with consecutive victories after knocking off Central Florida 86-78 in overtime with 43.6% shooting enough to overcome 50% accuracy because of 19 forced turnovers turning in to 18 more looks. The trio of Anthony Lee, Dalton Pepper and Devontae Watson were the offense with a combined 69 points.

South Florida finds themselves sharing the conference cellar thanks to a seven game slide where the defense has really struggled. That trend continued in a 78-69 loss at Houston on Tuesday where 48% from the field could not compensate for 50% from the charty stripe and a 1-9 from distance while the Cougars connected at a blistering 55%. The Bulls received a game high 25 points from Victor Rudd on 10-20 shooting with Martino Brock next in lline with 29 followed by the duo of Chris Perry and John Egbunu with eight points apiece with Egbunu grabbing eight boards.
I would think South Florida would be tough to deal with in their last home game but I also think backing either is hoping more then anything. I am hoping for a Temple win but I doubt that...
