The Delaware Blue Hens look to advance to the Colonial championship when they take the floor with the Northeastern Huskies.
If the rest of the conference wasn't taking Northeastern seriously before, they are now after the Huskies pulled the first upset of the conference tournament with 90-81 victory over Drexel on Saturday in the quarterfinals. The Huskies led 35-21 at the half before both teams tried to outscore each other with the winnerd sinking shots at 53% while holding a whopping 32-14 edge at the stripe. Scott Eatherton was the scoring star with 23 points and 15 rebounds followed by a 19 point, 12 board effort from Zach Stahl with David Walker and TJ Williams tossing in 18 and 12 points respectively.

As a big Delaware fan it has been a long time since this team has had a chance to go to the NCAA Tournament. Mike Brey took this team there twice and I wonder if their guard heavy lineup can make the trip there. The Blue Hens took a step in the right direction in their 87-76 defeat of Hofstra with a 50 point second half run erasing three point deficit. Superior 49% marksmanship and a 30-18 bulge at the charity stripe got the job done with Davon Usher pouring in a game best 28 points and eight boards with Jarvis Threatt next in line with 22 points. Devon Saddler added 15 points and six yanks while Kyle Anderson contributed 12 points.
This spread looks light so going to roll the dice here with Delaware but I don't love this game.
