Joe Harris is averaging a second-best 11.5 points per game, while Akil Mitchell is averaging a team-high 6.8 rebounds per game. The Cavaliers are shooting 45.2% from the field while averaging 65.9 points per game as a team this season. Virginia is a good rebounding team, averaging 35.9 boards per game. The Cavaliers are on a roll as they have won thirteen straight games, all in conference play. Virginia secured their first outright ACC regular-season championship in 33 years with the win over Syracuse last weekend. Virginia will be out on the road for their final regular season game.

The Maryland Terps improved to 16-14, 8-9 ACC after beating Virginia Tech 64-47 on Tuesday night. On the season, the Terps are led by Dez Wells, who is averaging a team-high 14.8 points per game. Seth Allen is averaging a second-best 12.6 points per game along with a team-high 3 assists per game. Charles Mitchell is averaging 6.7 points per game and a team-high 6.4 rebounds per contest. The Terps are shooting 43.6% from the field while averaging 71.2 points per game as a team this season. Maryland is one of the better rebounding teams in the ACC, averaging just over 37.4 boards per game. Maryland has lost five out of eight, and seven out of their last twelve overall. The Terps will be at home where they have won four out of their last five against conference opponents this season.
Virginia has had a week off so they might get off to a slow start in this one. However, Maryland doesn’t have the firepower to keep up with the Cavaliers, who are the hottest team in the country right now. I’m taking Virginia to keep rolling on Sunday.
