Florida Gators vs. Kentucky Wildcats SEC Tournament Pick, Odds Prediction 3/16/14

Paul Abell-USA TODAY Sports

The Kentucky Wildcats battled for the majority of their game on Saturday with the Georgia Bulldogs but they were able to put them away and win decisively. Kentucky is 14-6 in the SEC, 3-2 in neutral site games, and 1-4 against teams ranked in the top 25. Aaron Harrison was the star on Saturday with 22 points and for the season he is averaging 13.8 points. Julius Randle is averaging 15.3 points and 10.6 rebounds, James Young is averaging 14.6 points, and Andrew Harrison is averaging 10.8 points. Kentucky is averaging 76.4 points and they are shooting 45.4 percent while defensively they are allowing 66.8 points and their opponents are shooting 40.3 percent. Kentucky will be looking to avenge their tow losses to Florida this season.

Florida is 5-0 against the spread in their last five games, 4-0 against the spread against a team with a winning record, and 4-0 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread. Kentucky is 3-1-1 against the spread in their last five neutral site games, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven games, and 1-4 against the spread following a win. Florida has covered the point spread in four of the last five meetings of these two.

My free pick in this one is going to be on the total and the over is a solid play here. My stronger pick is going to be on who will cover the spread and I will post that in the Premium Area as well as on the App.
