The Pacific Tigers head to Antelope Gym to take on first year WAC member the Grand Canyon Antelopes in a CIT battle.
Grand Canyon is a newcomer to big time basketball and by any account 2013-14 has been a resounding success. The WAC isn't what it used to be but for the Antelope I'm sure it doesn't matter with a third place finish at 10-6 and 15-14 record it probably feels like hitting the lottery. Grand Canyon scored and allowed 72 points and didn't deviate much scoring wise or defensively but to be successful this team will have to adapt at some point to what opponents are doing good or bad. Scoring is their strength and the duo of Killian Larson (117 ppg) and Jerome Garrison (16.6 ppg) capable of plenty of damage.

Pacific didn't have the season they had hoped as things quickly went from okay to bad with the Tigers dropping five of six including their postseason opener to Santa Clara that left the team staring at a 6-12 record in the West Coast. The thing this group had going for them was their ability to score at almost 73 points but during the season ending run the offense averaged less then 60 points. The defense wasn't real strong at nearly 75 points allowed but even if it was strong they would have had difficulty winning with such little support. A trio of DD scorers leads the attack with ample support from four others.
I think betting this falls under the category of unecessary risk. I am posting the over for now put will update by morning of game day...
