The Detroit Titans have lost back-to-back road games to quality teams and their only win came against Rochester College. On the season, Detroit is averaging 64 points on 39.2 percent shooting and is allowing 77 points on 44.2 percent shooting. Juwan Howard Jr. leads Detroit with 18.7 points and six rebounds while Anton Wilson is averaging 13 points on 70 percent shooting. Paris Bass is the third Detroit player averaging double-digit points and Jarod Williams is producing 2.7 steals. The Detroit Titans have the ability to be a very good team this season in the Horizon League led by one of the best players in the conference in Howard. Detroit could rebound the ball better but overall this is a team that doesn’t beat itself much and plays well at both ends of the court.
The Jaguars are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Titans are 9-23 ATS in their last 32 home games and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss.
While I like the Detroit Titans and think they can be a sleeper in the Horizon, they have been brutal against the number for as long as we can remember. By default, give me the points and the South Alabama Jaguars.
