The College of Charleston Cougars have been competitive in both of their losses in Puerto Rico but that hasn’t brought them any wins. CofC lost their opener to UConn after being close late and they were close late against Texas A&M on Friday before losing by nine. Anthony Stitt leads College of Charleston averaging 14.5 points, Adjehi Baru is averaging 12.7 points and 10 rebounds, and Joe Chealey is averaging 11 points. College of Charleston is averaging 62.2 points and they are shooting 43.4 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 61 points and their opposition shoots 38 percent. The Cougars shoot 40.3 percent from beyond the three-point arc.
George Mason is 5-2 against the spread following a loss, 1-4 against the spread against the CAA, and 1-5 against the spread in their last six non-conference games. College of Charleston is 7-1 against the spread against the A-10, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven neutral site games, and 1-4 against the spread following a loss.
Charleston is favored here but they seem to be a team that plays close and doesn't win so I am on GMU.
