The Colonial and the American square off when the Hofstra Pride visit the South Florida Bulls.
The Hofstra Pride is picked to finish in the top four of the Colonial and are looking to build momentum for when the conference schedule hits. It's been so far, so good with the Pride off to a 3-1 start heading to South Florida. The Pride waffled Wagner 93-71 as they took a 17 point lead at the break and were never in danger behind 54.5% from the field including a 10-17 mark from long range. That was more then enough with the Seahawks held to less then 44%. Juan'ya Green was the best player on the floor with a game high 24 points and eleven helpers followed by a 17 point effort from Ameen Tanksley while Jamall Robiinson and Brian Bernardi added 13 and eleven points respectively.

The South Florida Bulls aren't given much of a chance in the AAC this year but we'll see if that changes if the Bulls continue to win. USF ran off to a 3-0 start before dropping a 68-65 decision at North Carolina State as a 15 point underdog in a game where each team had clear advantages. South Florida connected at over 47% from the floor with the Wolfpack countering with 37% but pulling this out with 15 offensive rebounds and a 20-9 edge at the charity stripe barely enough to squeeze out the win. South Florida received a team high 14 points from Corey Allen Jr. with Nehemias Morillo and Chris Perry tossed in eleven and ten points while combining for 12 rebounds. Bo Ziegler and Anthony Collins added another 17 points wwith Collins handing out eight assists.
The under is 18-8 in Hofstra's last 26 road games while Hofstra are 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 road games. For South Florida the Bulls are 7-19 ATS in their last 26 home games while the under is 55-26-1 in USF last 82 overall. I think many people will look at the respective conferences and side with South Florida because the AAC is much better or they will look at the common opponent in North Carolina State and see that the Bulls played the Wolfpack better by far but I believe the Pride might be better then they've shown and I'll take the points...
