The Florida Gators bounced back from Wednesday’s loss to Georgetown by knocking off UAB by nne points to land in this game. On Thursday Florida shot 34 percent from the floor and 30.4 percent from beyond the three-point arc while converting just 56.5 percent from the free throw line. Michael Frazier II led the way coring 14 points and grabbing eight rebounds, Chris Chiozza had 13 points, Jon Horford had eight points and eight rebounds and Kasey Hill had eight points and five assists. Florida’s numbers weren’t good in the stats department but it all added up to a win.

The North Carolina Tar Heels bounced back from Wednesday’s loss to Butler by pounding UCLA on Thursday in an easy win. UNC shot 42.4 percent from the floor, 34.8 percent from beyond the three-point arc, and they hit 73.7 percent of their free throws. Marcus Paige had 21 points and five assists to lead the Tar Heels. Justin Jackson had 12 points and five rebounds, Isaiah Hicks had 10 points, and J.P. Tokoto had 10 points. North Carolina looked and played much more like what is expected of them jumping out to a 14-point halftime lead and not taking their foot off of the gas.
Florida is 8-2 against the spread against the ACC, 0-3-1 against the spread following a win, and 0-3-1 against the spread in their last four neutral site games. North Carolina is 9-2 against the spread following g game that they covered the spread, 2-6 against the spread following a win, and 2-6 against the spread against a team with a winning record.
The total for this one looks to pretty much right were I have it as well but if anything I can see it staying under the number as we see a more deliberate pace by both teams.
