The Ole Miss Rebels and the Cincinnati Bearcats face off on Saturday in college basketball tournament action.
The Ole Miss Rebels moved to 4-1 on the season on Friday knocking off Creighton. Mississippi trailed at the half by six but outscored the Bluejays by 13 in the second half to get the win. Ole Miss shot 52.1 percent from the floor and 40 percent from byond the 3-point arc while converting 90.5 percent of their free throws. Jarvis Summers led the Rebels scoring 23 points, LaDarius White had 18 points, , Martavious Newberry had nine points and seven rebounds, and M.J. Rhett had nine points. The big difference in the game was that Creighton hit just 64.7 percent of their free throw chances.

The Cincinnati bearcats moved to 5-0 on the season and advanced to this game by handling Middle Tennessee State on Friday by 18 points. Cincinnati was unstoppable shooting 56.8 percent from the floor including 46.7 percent from beyond the three-point arc and 66.7 percent from the free throw line. Troy Caupain had 11 points, Jermaine sanders had 10 points, and Deshaun Morman, Farad Cobb, and Gary Clark had nine points each in the win. Cincinnati once again looks to be tough on defense and uses that to create offensive chances with a team approach.
Ole Miss is 7-2-1 against the spread in neutral site games, 2-6-1 against the spread in their last nine games, and 2-8-2 against the spread following a game that they covered the point spread. Cincinnati is 7-3-1 against the spread against the SEC, 2-5 against the spread in their last seven neutral site games, and 1-6 against the spread in their last seven games.
THis one looks tight but I always go with the better defense and that is Cincinnati here.
