The Florida State Seminoles have split their first six games and could use a marquee win to get back on track. On the season, FSU is averaging 66.8 points on 46.8 percent shooting and is allowing 66.5 points on 41.9 percent shooting. Aaron Thomas, who leads the Noles with 14 points per game, won’t play this game due to injury. Xavier Rathan-Mayes is averaging 13.8 points on 42.6 percent shooting and Montay Brandon is Florida State’s third player averaging double-digit points. Phil Cofer has 18 rebounds in his last three games. The Florida State Seminoles have no outside shooting at just 22.1 percent and are turning the ball over 13.3 times per game. And after being a solid rebounding team last year, FSU is averaging just 31.8 boards per game. Needless to say, Florida State hasn’t gotten off to a great start.
The Cornhuskers are 0-6 ATS in their last 6 non-conference games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Monday games. The Seminoles are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games and 15-3-1 ATS in their last 19 games after allowing less than 50 points in their previous game.
I don't like the way the Seminoles are playing and it doesn't help that they don't have their top player on the court. Give me Nebraska, as the Cornhuskers pick up a big win on the road.
