The red hot Tulane Green Wave look to keep rolling when they visit the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers.
The Tulane Green Wave were throttled in their opener versus Wake Forest and rattled off four consecutive victories where they were solid at both ends of the floor. The Green Wave are coming off of a 73-68 decision over Tennessee Tech where they led by seven at the break and then held serve until the final whistle. The defense was adequate with the Golden Eagles sinking shots at 45.6% but this was won at the offensive end where Tulane burned the nets at 53%. Jonathan Stark led four double digit scorers with 14 points and seven assists with Louis Dabney scoring 12 points. Jay Hook and Ryan Smith tossed in eleven and ten points while Dylan Osetkowski and Payton Henson contributed eight points with nine players scoring.

It was strange to see the Loyola-Chicago Ramblers leave the Horizon for the Missouri Valley and I honestly don't know the motive which is probably money. Back in their days in the Horizon the Ramblers struggled to score and needed to make timely shots and control the clock just to be competitive. The Ramblers improved to 4-1 following a 69-61 victory over Kent State where they jumped to an 18 point lead at the break and held off the Golden Flashes over the final 20 minutes. Kent State was held to 39% from the field which couldn't keep up with the 51% accuracy of LCU. Christian Thomas tossed in a game high 16 points and grabbed seven boards followed by a 15 point effort from Devon Turk. Jeff White contributed 13 points while Montel James added eleven points and eight rebounds.
The Green Wave are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 Wednesday games and are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss. Tulane is 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record while going 2-5 ATS in their last 7 non-conference games. For Loyola-Chicago the Ramblers are 8-3 ATS in their last 11 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Loyola-Chicago are 7-15 ATS in their last 22 home games while going 3-8 ATS in their last 11 games overall. I have followed the Ramblers much more then Tulane and I think they are better but I'd take my chances with the points...
