The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers are hoping to begin a long hot streak against the Bowling Green Falcons.
The Bowling Green Falcons have shown the ability to score and defend in building a 4-0 start to the season but the question is whether they can continue to do both going forward. The Falcons controlled the scoreboard in a 64-63 victory over Detroit on Sunday and needed to with only 38.6% shooting. The Falcons saving grace was a +16 on the backboards and 14 offensive rebounds that added up to eight more looks at the basket for the visitors that helped edge out the 45% shooting Titans. Richaun Holmes was the best player on the floor with a game high 26 points, 18 rebounds and five blocks on 10-12 shooting. Jehvon Clarke and Jovan Austin each scored nine points on a combined 5-18 from the field.

The Western Kentucky Hilltoppers haven't been quick out of the gates but they have played a decent enough schedule to get a passing grade for now. The Hilltoppers snapped a three game slide with a 62-59 victory over St. Joseph's as a point favorite. WKY opened a seven point lead going in to the locker room before holding on for the narrow win. In a sloppy game both teams connected in the 43%-44% with a combined 33 turnovers. Poor shot selection hurt the Hilltoppers as a 3-23 mark from down town wasn't enough to say stop shooting threes. George Fant paced the Western Kentucky scoring with 17 points and 15 rebounds with Chris Harrison-Docks next in line with 12 points with a 2-11 mark from distance. Trency Jackson and Ben Lawson contributed eleven and eight points respectively.
The Falcons are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 Wednesday games and are 3-0-2 ATS in their last 5 games overall. Bowling Green are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games while going 4-1-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. win. For Western Kentucky the Hilltoppers are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. Mid-American and 4-12 ATS in their last 16 non-conference games. The Hilltoppers are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 games overall while going 3-10-1 ATS in their last 14 home games. I think Western Kentucky is better then their record and at the same time Bowling Green isn't trash so this looks fairly even to me so I'll take the points...
