The Line: Wisconsin Badgers -2.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The Duke Blue Devils and Wisconsin Badgers play Wednesday night at the Kohl Center.
The Duke Blue Devils are a perfect 7-0 and will play their first true road game. On the season, Duke is averaging 90.4 points on 52.7 percent shooting and is allowing 59.1 points on 39.9 percent shooting. Jahlil Okafor leads Duke with 17.7 points and 7.9 rebounds while Quinn Cook is averaging 15.6 points and four assists. Justise Winslow is the third Duke player to average double-digit points and Amile Jefferson is grabbing 8.9 rebounds per game. The Duke Blue Devils are one of the top shooting teams in the country, and are even making 69.8 percent of their free throws and 38.7 percent from three. Duke is grabbing close to 40 rebounds per game and is allowing just 23.6 percent shooting from beyond the arc. Of course, we’ll get a real feel of just how good Duke is with this contest.

The Wisconsin Badgers are also undefeated and will play their fifth home game. On the season, Wisconsin is averaging 74.6 points on 50.5 percent shooting and is allowing 50.6 points on 37.1 percent shooting. Frank Kaminsky leads Wisconsin with 16.6 points and 8.7 rebounds while Nigel Hayes is averaging 13.6 points and 8.3 rebounds. Sam Dekker is the third Wisconsin player to average double-digit points and Traevon Jackson is dishing out 3.1 assists. The Wisconsin Badgers are also a great shooting team, knocking down 68.5 percent from the free throw line and 38 percent from beyond the arc. But the Wisconsin Badgers are also top 10 in points allowed and are producing 4.3 blocks per game. I’ve said before the season that Wisconsin is the best team in the country and this game could prove just that.
The Blue Devils are 7-3 ATS in their last 10 road games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall. The Badgers are 39-17-1 ATS in their last 57 non-conference games and 10-1-1 ATS in their last 12 games overall.
Again, I think the Wisconsin Badgers are the top team in the country with their depth and elite level of play at both ends. Duke is good but isn't expericened or deep enough to hang with the Badgers at home. Give me Wisconsin and the small chalk.
