The Fairfield Stags are also off to a tough start and could use a win to turn things around. On the season, Fairfield is averaging 60 points on 38.7 percent shooting and is allowing 71.6 points on 45.7 percent shooting. Marcus Gilbert is averaging 14 points and 4.7 rebounds while Tyler Nelson is shooting 42.5 percent from the field. Amadou Sidibe is grabbing 8.1 rebounds per game and K.J. Rose is shooting 40 percent from beyond the arc. The Fairfield Stags offense is nearly nonexistent, as they’re shooting just 31.1 percent from beyond the arc and have just one player averaging double-digit points. Fairfield’s defense hasn’t been much better, forcing less than 12 turnovers per game and allowing teams to shoot 37 percent from downtown.
The Jaspers are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall. The Stags are 6-14 ATS in their last 20 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 Friday games. Jaspers are 4-1 ATS in the last 5 meetings and the home team is 4-0 ATS in the last 4 meetings.
This line opened up as a one-point game. Since both teams are trash, I'll gladly take the home team and the extra points the public has handed us.
