The Marquette Golden Eagles have been a bit up and down especially at the defensive end and the result is a 4-4 record. Defense certainly wasn't an issue in a 49-38 defeat at the hands of visiting Wisconsin as a 12 point underdog. The Badgers took a ten point lead in to the locker room and the Golden Eagles were unable to cut in to the deficit. The defenses played great or the offenses didn't make shots with Wisky having a bit more success at 32.7%-29% which was enough to total four more field goals. Matt Carlino was the only double digit scorer for the Golden Eagles with 18 points with five of the team's nine turnovers whle Juan Anderson hauled in ten rebounds. No other player scored more then six points and Carlino was the only player to shoot 50% among those that took more then one shot.
The Sun Devils are 3-7-1 ATS in their last 11 Tuesday games while going 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 road games and 1-6 ATS in their last 7 vs. Big East. The Golden Eagles are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 Tuesday games and are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600. Marquette are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 non-conference games. I don't see a world of difference here and in all honesty this is a game that holds little interest for me but I'll back the home team at small chalk...
