Florida struggled from beyond the arc as they only shot 21.1% (4-19) as a team. Leading the way for Florida was Kasey Hill who had 17 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 assists. Florida is currently ranked 110th in the RPI Standings and has played the 116th ranked SOS. On the season, Florida have been led by Michael Frazier II (14.6 ppg, 4.9 rpg, 1.4 apg, 1.5 spg), Dorian Finney-Smith (12.8 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 1.7 apg), and Kasey Hill (7.8 ppg, 2.3 rpg, 4.4 apg). Eli Carter (6.7 ppg, 1.9 rpg, 1.9 apg) who was listed as questionable with a foot injury has been cleared to play in this match-up. Offensively, the Gators are averaging 67.6 ppg (ranked 186th) on 44.5% shooting (ranked 129th). Florida averages 12.25 offensive rpg (ranked 202th). Defensively, the Gators are holding their opponents to an average of 56.1 ppg (ranked 15th) on 38.7% shooting (ranked 56th). Florida does a nice job forcing turnovers as they currently average 8.3 steals per game (ranked 44th).
The Huskies are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 non-conference games. The Gators are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss however, just 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 games overall.
These two teams have really struggled this year and both are in desperate need of a win. As of right now, Boatright is questionable and it looks as if the line has him as out as they currently have Florida as solid favorites in this one. I’m going to stay away from this one do to the uncertainly of Boatright but if I had to put an action down I would probably still take UConn as I just don’t trust the Florida’s offense.
