The Saint Louis Billikens and Chaifetz Arena welcome the Rhode Island Rams to town in an A-10 tilt.
The Rhode Island Rams have played a decent schedule and have won with quality scoring and defense leading the way but how things go in conference play is what's important and still an unknown. The Rams have won four of five with strong efforts at both ends of the floor after downing Brown 80-60 to up their record to 8-3. The Rams rode a 16 point lead after 20 minutes URI put the defensive squeeze on with the Bears hitting at 37.5% while burning the nets at 51% which resulted in ten more field goals. Hassan Martin was the big offensive weapon for the Rams with 17 points and seven pulls with EC Matthews scoring 12 points. Biggie Minnis and Jarelle Reischel.

The Saint Louis Billikens have lost a ton of talent from a very good team that was dominant over the past few years so needless to say this team is not picked to challenge in the Atlantic Ten. The Billikens appeared to be finding their stride befor a 70-55 fefeat at the hands of visiting Vanderbilt snapped a three game winning streak. The bottom line is the Billikens did not make shots at 36% while the Commodores didn't miss at 54% with edges on threes and at the stripe. SLU leaned on three double digit scorers with the duo of Austin McBroom and Achraf and Yacoubou netting 15 points apiece with Yacoubou grabbing six boards. Milik Yarbrough tossed in 13 points but the Billikens received just 12 points from the rest of the lineup.
The Rams are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 vs. Atlantic 10 and are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games. Rhode Island are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games following three or more consecutive home games. The Billikens are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a double-digit loss at home and are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss. St Louis are 7-18-1 ATS in their last 26 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and are 3-8-1 ATS in their last 12 games following a ATS loss. My take here is Rhode Island plays as capable I like them here...
