The IUPUI Jaguars look for a conference win at the Mabee Center versus the Oral Roberts Golden Eagles.
The Indiana-Purdue Jaguars haven't been consistently strong at either end of the floor but they have been more competitive then their 5-10 record indicates. The defense seems to be coming around but not their scoring although the Jaguars did just enough scoring in a 63-58 victory at Ft Wayne on Sunday. The Jaguars led by nine at the intermission and fended off the Mastodons the rest of the way. The home team was limited to 36% from the fiel while IUPUI nailed 47% of their attempts. Marcellus Barksdale was the go to scorer with a game high 19 points on 6-10 followed by Aaron Brennan with 13 points while DavRon Williams and Khufu Najee netted eight points apiece and combined for 12 rebounds.

The Oral Roberts Golden Eagles are a little difficult to nail down in their first season as a member of the Summit League. This might be perfect timing however as parity seems to have hit the conference. The Golden Eagles began conference play on a down note with a 72-66 defeat at North Dakota State on Friday in what was a tie game at the half. he Golden Eagles held a slight 45%-42% shooting advantage but deciding factor came at the charity stripe where the Bison had a 19-8 margin. Obi Emegano gave the Golden Eagles 25 points on 8-15 from the field followed by a 17 point, seven board effort from Denell Henderson. Korey Billbury netted 13 points and snared another seven rebounds but the rest of the team managed only eleven points.
The Jaguars are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games. IUPUI are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 7-1 ATS in their last 8 Wednesday games. The Golden Eagles are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. Oral Roberts are 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a S.U. loss and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall. I think the Summit is difficult to cap because of parity and have found that the points are the way to go riight now...
