The Saint Louis Billikens will travel to John M. Belk Arena to take on the Davidson Wildcats this Saturday night.

USA TODAY Sports

The Davidson Wildcats dropped to 10-3 (1-1 A-10) after losing 71-65 to the 20th ranked VCU Rams this past Wednesday. The Wildcats struggled on the offensive end as they only shot 37.3% from the field and were held to their lowest scoring output of the season in the loss. Leading the way for Davidson was Brian Sullivan who had 19 points, 2 rebounds, and 3 assists. The Wildcats are currently ranked 51st in the RPI Standings and have played the 151st ranked SOS. On the season, Davidson has been led by Jack Gibbs (16.9 ppg, 4.4 rpg, 4.8 apg, 1.7 spg) and Tyler Kalinoski (16.8 ppg, 6.1 rpg, 3.8 apg). Offensively, the Wildcats are averaging 84.2 ppg (ranked 6th) on 47.8% shooting (ranked 36th). Davison averages 11.2 three-pointers per game (ranked 2nd) on 40.4% three-point shooting (ranked 13th). Defensively, the Wildcats are allowing their opponents to average 70.5 ppg (ranked 273rd) on 43.4% shooting. The Wildcats have a 1.68 assist/turnover ratio which ranks 1st in the country.

The Billikens are 7-19-1 ATS in their last 27 games overall and just 0-6 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS win. The Wildcats are 4-0 ATs in their last 4 home games and 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS win.

Saint Louis put a great effort against a talented George Washington team however, this is a team that generally really struggles scoring the ball. This is a lot of points to cover however, I don't see Davidson's offensive being stopped at home and I don't think St. Louis will be able to put up nearly enough points on the offensive end to hang around with the Wildcats. I'm taking Davidson to cover this large spread.
