The score first Texas-San Antonio Roadrunners are as dangerous as anybody in the CUSA which says they can't be counted out with their 73 point average. The problem is at the defensive end where nearly that many points are given up. The Roadrunners opened the conference schedule with a loss versus Rice but have won consecutive games after routing visiting Southern Mississippi 77-57 on Thursday. UTSA were in control by 12 at the half and were never challenged despite almost 48% shooting from the Golden Eagles because the Roadrunners sank shots at 56% and nailed 13-25 three pointers. Keon Lewis was the top scorer with 16 points and seven helpers with Kaj-Bjorn Sherman posting 14 points and seven boards. Ryan Bowie and Jerome Hill followed with 15 and ten points with the starters accounting for 61 points.
The Bulldogs are 7-1 ATS in their last 8 vs. Conference USA and 5-2-1 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS win while going 7-3 ATS in their last 10 Saturday games. The Roadrunners are 3-10 ATS in their last 13 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 3-11 ATS in their last 14 Saturday games.
