William & Mary Hall will be electric when the James Madison Dukes visit the Tribe in Saturday action.
I wonder if the James Madison Dukes will challenge for the Colonial Athletic as they can keep the scoreboard under control but the question is whether they can score enough to get the job done. The Dukes have been outscored 66-64 but have started conference play well with a 2-1 mark after a close a 65-59 defeat to visiting Northeastern with the Dukes squandering a nine point lead in the second half. Both teams sank shots in the 43% range but the Huskies led at the stripe 18-9 to pull out the win. Winston Grays led three double digit scorers with 15 points on 5-9 shooting with leading scorer Yohanny Dalembert tossing in 13 points. Ron Curry added ten points followed by Joey McLean and his eight points.

The William & Mary Tribe have scoring punch and the ability to get stops at the defensive end which makes them a complete squad. However they have had some issues away from home and that was the case in Thursday's 85-79 defeat at Elon that dropped them to 2-1 in the CAA. The Tribe held a slight 45.6%-44% shooting advantage but the game was decided at the charity stripe where the Phoenix turned 19 W&M personals in to a substantial 17-5 edge. Terry Tarpley was a force with a game high 22 points and 13 rebounds on 8-12 from the floor while Marcus Thornton was right on his heels with a 21 point, seven assist performance on 8-20. Omar Prewitt was next in line with 15 points and five yanks followed by Daniel Dixon with eight points.
The Dukes are 6-13 ATS in their last 19 games overall and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games following a ATS loss. James Madison are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 4-12-2 ATS in their last 18 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. The Tribe are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games and 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. loss. W&M are 10-1 ATS in their last 11 games following a ATS loss and 11-2 ATS in their last 13 Saturday games. I don't see any chance of an upset and I wouldn't feel great backing either team at this because the games are generally competitive so I'll just take the points...
