The Line: Seton Hall Pirates -3 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds
The #19 Seton Hall Pirates clash with the Butler Bulldogs at the Prudential Center in Big East action.
The goal for the Butler Bulldogs is to climb back in to the national rankings and with their ability to score and defend I can't see this team falling too far from the top 25. The Bulldogs took a step towards their goal with an 88-76 victory over visiting Xavier on Saturday. This was a defensive game until Butler outscored the Musketeers 54-45 over the final 20 minutes. The Bulldogs owned a slight 47%-44.8% but this game was decided at the foul line where the Bulldogs led 32-19. All five starters reached double figures in scoring with Andrew Chrabascz leading with 19 points followed by Roosevelt Jones and his 16 points and five assists while Alex Barlow tossed in 15 points and snagged five pulls. Kameron Woods netted 13 points and hauled in ten rebounds while Kellen Dunham chipped in with ten points.

The goal for the Seton Hall Pirates is to stay in the national rankings and climb higher then 19 and they arent hurting themselves with wins in four of five after escaping Creighton with a 68-67 decision on Saturday that was tight throughout. The Bluejays were hot from the field with 51% marksmanship while the Pirates were average at 43% but 14 offensive rebounds led the way to eleven more looks at the basket which was crucial. Sterling Gibbs carried the offense with a contest best 22 point performance on 8-16 from the floor which included four bombs. Khadeem Carrington tossed in eleven points while the tandem of Desi Rodriguez and Brandon Mobley combined for 17 points with Mobley dominating the backboards with 13 rebounds.
The Bulldogs are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 vs. Big East and 4-10-1 ATS in their last 15 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. Butler are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600 and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. The Pirates are 8-0 ATS in their last 8 home games and 5-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Seton Hall are 14-3 ATS in their last 17 games overall and 9-2 ATS in their last 11 games following a S.U. win. I always say some games are better to watch then bet and this might be one of them...
