West Virginia vs. Oklahoma - 1/13/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Oklahoma Sooners are 11-4 this season and are coming off of a loss at Kansas State but they are ranked 16th in the nation. Oklahoma is averaging 72.9 points and they are shooting 44 percent from the floor while defensively they are allowing 59.4 points and their opponents are shooting 36.3 percent. Buddy Hield leads the Sooners averaging 16.8 points and 5.5 rebounds per game. Isaiah Cousins is averaging 12.7 points and 6.1 rebounds, TaShawn Thomas is averaging 11.9 points and 6.1 rebounds, and Ryan Spangler is averaging 9.3 points and 8.1 rebounds. Oklahoma is 2-1 on the road this season and 2-1 in Big 12 play.

West Virginia is 5-1 against the spread in their last six games, 6-15 against the spread following a loss, and 4-1 against the spread following a game that they didn’t cover the point spread. Oklahoma is 8-2 against the spread against the Big 12, 12-5-1 against the spread in their last 18 road games, and 5-1 against the spread following a loss. The home team has covered the point spread in four of the last five meetings of these two.

This looks like a tight one but I look for Oklahoma to get the win as they have more options to work with.
