The Toledo Rockets shoot for a conference win on the road against the Ohio Bobcats on Wednesday night.
The high scoring Toledo Rockets are looking for a quick start out of the gate in MAC action. This team is known for their ability to put the ball in the basket and haven't disappointed at 75 points per game. The Rockets offense was in high gear in Saturday's 84-67 rout of visiting Akron with a 47-33 second half run breaking open a tight game where they were a five point favorite. The defense was none too shabby with the Zips held to 40% from the field while burning the nets at 56% themselves with a 21-13 edge at the stripe. JD Weatherspoon pumped in a game high 17 points and six pulls on 5-8 followed by a 15 point, six boards by Jonathan Williams. Julius Brown tossed in 14 points while Justin Drummond and Nathan Boothe netted 13 and nine points with seven rebounds each.

The Ohio Bobcats seems like they have been a factor in the MAC forever but 2014-15 appears to have a different feel to it. The Bobcats still have decent scoring but they are giving up close to 70 points and that's a tough number to overcome on a consistent basis and a 5-8 record says that isn't happening. The Bobcats fell at Bowling Green 69-54 as a seven point underdog on Saturday with the Falcons pulling away in the second half with 35-25 run. Shooting accuracy was the deciding factor with BGSU holding a 44%-33% advantage which was a difference of seven field goals. Ryan Taylor gave his offense 16 points on 5-9 from the floor with a ten point, nine rebound performance by Maurice Ndour. Stevie Taylor and Antonio Campbell chipped in with eight points apiece but the rest of the team scored just 12 points.
The Rockets are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 3-9-1 ATS in their last 13 road games. Toledo are 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and 1-9 ATS in their last 10 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. The Bobcats are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 home games and 5-16 ATS in their last 21 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. Ohio are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Mid-American. The home team has dominated here but Ohio is struggling and Toledo is no sure thing on the road...
