The James Madison Dukes head to Philadelphia to tangle with the Drexel Dragons in CAA action.
The James Madison Dukes are one of those teams you can never count out but they have to get the most from both ends of the floor to be successful. Back to back defeats have the Dukes sitting at 2-2 in the Colonial following an 81-73 loss at William & Mary on Saturday as a ten point underdog. The Dukes shot the ball well at 48% and were 7-16 on threes but the Tribe connected at 45% including 10-24 from distance while sinking seven more free throws. Ron Curry led a trio of double digit scorers with 14 points followed Winston Grays and Jackson Kent with 13 points apiece with Kent snaring eight rebounds. Tom Vodanovich and Yohanny Dalembert each chipped in with eight points while eight players found the scoring column overall.

In the past several seasons injuries have really hurt the Drexel Dragons but in 2014-15 graduation has taken a toll. The Dragons have managed to control the scoreboard with 64 points given up but the offensive end of the floor has been a problem with less then 58 points scored. The struggling Dragons have dropped three of four after a 64-57 loss at North Carolina-Wilmington. Drexel shot the ball at 42% but the Seahawks were red hot at 52% from the field which was the difference with four more baskets. Damion Lee shouldered the scoring load win a contest high 32 points and eight rebounds on 10-15 from the field. Rashann London followed with eight points while the tandem of Freddie Wilson and Tavon Allen adding seven points each.
The Dukes are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games and 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games following a S.U. loss. James Madison are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 vs. Colonial Athletic Association and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400. The Dragons are 5-12 ATS in their last 17 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 3-9 ATS in their last 12 games following a S.U. loss. Drexel are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 1-5 ATS in their last 6 vs. Colonial Athletic Association. James Madison struggles on the road and Drexel just struggles. I'm not touching this...
