The UC Riverside Highlanders look to put on a show for the home crowd versus the UC Davis Aggies.
The UC Davis Aggies have above average numbers at both ends of the floor which make them a tough out whenever they take the floor. The Aggies upped their winning streak to three games with a 73-67, overtime decision against visiting Long Beach State on Saturday as a three point home dog. The defense saved the day by limiting the 49ers to 38% while the offense connected at a decent 45.5% but almost lost it with 22 turnovers to give LBSU eleven more looks at the basket. Corey Hawkins led three double digit scorers with 28 points and ten rebounds on 8-13 marksmanship with Darius Graham tossing in 12 points. Josh Ritchart followed with ten points and five yanks while Josh Fox chipped in with nine points and six boards.

I think the UC Riverside Highlanders are a bit of a mystery team with middle of the row numbers overall adding up to an 8-8 record. The Highlanders are the definition of a team that struggles away from home with a 1-7 mark but are 7-1 on their own floor. The struggles away from home continued in a 69-55 defeat at UC Irvine where a 12 point deficit at the half set the tone. UCR hit shots at under 40% but the Anteaters burned the nets at a hefty 55% including a 7-10 mark from long range. The tandem of Jaylen Bland and Taylor Johns contributed 12 points and five pulls apiece on identical 5-12 from the floor while Austin Quick, Robert Boezeman and Cheick Thiero netted six points each with Thiero snagging five boards.
The Aggies are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win while going 6-13-1 ATS in their last 20 road games. The Highlanders are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 games overall while going 2-6 ATS in their last 8 home games vs. a team with a winning road record. The Aggies are the better squad but the line looks fishy. I know the Highlanders are good at home but I'll chance UC Davis...
