Butler vs. Creighton - 1/21/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Butler Bulldogs have split their last 10 games and look for their fourth Big East win. On the season, Butler is averaging 70.7 points on 44 percent shooting and is allowing 60.2 points on 41.1 percent shooting. Kellen Dunham is averaging 16.6 points and 2.6 rebounds while Roosevelt Jones is averaging 13.1 points and 3.7 assists. Andrew Chrabascz is grabbing 3.7 rebounds and Alex Barlow is dishing 2.1 assists. The Butler Bulldogs are a defensive team that’s allowing 28.9 percent shooting from deep and has allowed 67 or less points in five of their last eight games. Offensively, Butler is shooting 66.8 percent from the line and 34.5 percent from beyond the arc. Butler is 8-1 SU on its home court.

The Bluejays are 2-7 ATS in their last 9 road games and 1-8 ATS in their last 9 games overall. The Bulldogs are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games and 8-2 ATS in their last 10 vs. Big East.

Both of these teams are average/below average, so I don't understand why Butler is getting this much love. The Creighton Bluejays can still put the ball in the hoop and are well coached. This is a weird game but I like the points here.
