The Marist Red Foxes have had big issues at both ends of the floor with just 58 points scored and 69 given up which explains their 1-17 record. The Red Foxes are coming off one of their better performances of 2014-15 albeit a losing one in a 72-71 defeat at the hands of Quinnipiac in which the Bobcats trailed the entire time until late. Both teams hit shots in the 45% range with the Bobcats securing seven more looks and a few more baskets to counter the Red Foxes 8-3 edge on three pointers. Chavaughn Lewis was the top scoring option with 20 points and six rebounds on 7-16 from the field in 37 minutes. Khallid Hart scored 19 while TJ Curry and KJ Lee combined for 17 points with the starters accounting for all but ten points.

For all their struggles the Siena Saints are really not in to bad in the standings at 3-3 and could be better going forward if the defensive end of the floor could stiffen and allow less then 75 points. Sunday's 74-70 victory at Niagara was a good start as it prevented a three game skid and kept the team in the middle of the MAAC conersation. Siena led by three after 20 minutes and turned back numerous Purple Eagles rallies throughout the second half behind the 50% shooting and a 23-11 edge at the charity stripe to negate 18 giveaways and 17 more looks by the 40% shooting home team. Javion Ogunyemi paced the scoring spree with 16 points and five yanks while Willem Brandwijk and Marquis Wright added 12 points each and grebbed nine boards. Evan Hymes and Lavon Long combined for another 21 points and Jimmy Paige chipped in with eight.
The Red Foxes are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss. Marist are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 vs. Metro Atlantic Athletic. The Saints are 2-5-1 ATS in their last 8 games overall and 0-5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a S.U. win. If Rob Poole is still out the Saints are down another scorer still but Marist still might not be able to catch up. Siena wins in a blowout or the Red Foxes barely cover but save your money...
