The George Mason Patriots await a visit from the Davidson Wildcats in an Atlantic Ten battle.
The Davidson Wildcats look to continue their polific scoring as they continue their Atlantic Ten schedule. The Wildcats lit up Dayton 77-60 at home Tuesday to up their record to 4-2 as they tooka surprising 12 point lead at the half and never took their foot off the gas. The Flyers shot the ball well at 49% but Davidson was even better at 51.7% with 15 turnovers helping them to 13 more looks while owning a 12-3 advantage from long range. Peyton Aldridge tossed in a team high 22 minutes and six boards on 9-14 with Tyler Kalinoski adding 21 points and six helpers on 9-14 shooting. Oskar Michelsen netted eleven points followed by eight point from Jordan Barham and Brian Sullivan with Sullivan handing out seven assists.

The George Mason Patriots have been outscored 69-65 on the way to a 6-11 record but I think a very difficult number 18 strength of schedule might have something to do with the numbers. A 20 point first half set the tone with the defense outperforming the offense in a 63-53 loss at George Washington. The Patriots held a slight 36%-35% shooting edge with ten more looks producing four more field goals but the Colonials turned 25 Patriots personals in to a decisive 23-6 edge. Corey Edwards paced a trio of double digit scorers with 13 points on a 4-6 effort from distance with Shevon Thompson adding eleven points and eleven rebounds. Vaughn Gray and and Jalen Jenkins combined for 15 points with Jenkins snaring five pulls while the entire nine man rotation scored.
The Wildcats are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record and 8-1 ATS in their last 9 games following a S.U. win. Davidson are 12-2 ATS in their last 14 games following a ATS win and 6-1 ATS in their last 7 vs. Atlantic 10. The Patriots are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS win. George Mason are 6-2 ATS in their last 8 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 9-4-1 ATS in their last 14 games following a S.U. loss. This looks like it could be a tough game and I'm interested to see how Davidson responds...
