Rutgers vs. Michigan State - 1/27/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

USA TODAY Sports

The Rutgers Scarlet Knights have lost four straight games and look for their third Big Ten win. On the season, Rutgers is averaging 59.3 points on 39.9 percent shooting and is allowing 63.1 points on 40.5 percent shooting. Myles Mack is averaging 14.4 points and 4.3 assists while Kadeem Jack is averaging 13.1 points and 6.3 rebounds. Bishop Daniels is dishing 1.5 assists and Greg Lewis is grabbing 4.7 rebounds. The Rutgers Scarlet Knights are allowing 31.8 percent shooting from deep and have given up 65 or less points in seven of their last 10 games. Offensively, Rutgers is shooting 66.2 percent from the line and 29.9 percent from beyond the arc. Junior Etou and Mike Williams are both questionable for this game.

The Spartans are 20-7 ATS in their last 27 games following a S.U. loss and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. The Scarlet Knights are 4-17 ATS in their last 21 Tuesday games and 7-2 ATS in their last 9 games following a ATS loss.

Michigan State doesn't lose many back-to-back games and it should be able to handle a far less talented Rutgers squad. Look for the Spartans to win by double digits.
