The Hawaii Warriors shoot for a road win against the Cal State Northridge Matadors at Matador Gymnasium.
The Hawaii Warriors are a very dangerous squad with a big offense that averages over 73 points. If they can get solid efforts from their defense and become more consistent away from home the rest of the Big West won't be feeling comfortable. The home court wasn't an advantage in Saturday's 78-72 loss to UC Irvine as they trailed by eight at the interission and couldn't get the lead. The Anteaters sank shots at 52% and hit ten bombs to overcome the Warriors 33% accuracy and nullify 19 more UH shots built on 17 turnovers and 18 offensive rebounds. Isaac Flemming led five DD scorers with 14 points followed by a 13 point, nine rebound performance from Garrett Nevels. Stefan Jankovic and Negus Webster-Chan added eleven points and seven boards each while Roderick Bobbitt chipped in with ten points.
