The Weber State Wildcats would like nothing better then to string a few wins together and make a serious charge to crack the top four in the Big Sky. The Wildcats took step number one towards that goal with a 67-60 victory at North Dakota Thursday that ended a three game skid snd upped their conference record to 3-5. This was close throughout with both teams connecting in the 40%-41% range with the Fighting Sioux using nine more shots to stay close while the Wildcats went 19-21 at the stripe to sink 13 more free throws. Jeremy Senglin carried the offense with a gaame high 21 points and five yanks on 7-11 from the field with Richaud Gittens adding 14 points and six boards on 4-9. Joel Bolomboy and Kyndahl Hill combined for 19 points with ten and six rebounds respectively as the starters scored all but five points.

Right now the Northern Colorado Bears are a top four squad in the Big Sky at 4-3 with the number 27 offense putting up 76 points leading the way. Outscoring opponents is their key to success and they did just that in a 79-76 win versus visiting Idaho State to prevent a three game skid. Cameron Michael poured in a game high 24 points on 8-14 accuracy including 6-8 on threes whike Jordan Nelson added 17 points and six assists on 6-10 with five bombs. Tevin Svihovec and and Dominique Lee scored 13 and 12 points with Lee leading the team withnine rebounds. There was no shortage in the scoring department from either team.
