The North Carolina-Wimington Seahawks hope to continue their battle for the CAA with a trip to face the James Madison Dukes.
The North Carolina-Wlmington Seahawks have outscored opponents 72-71 overall but have been playing above these numbers especially at the defensive end of the floor which has paved the way to a 7-3 mark in the Colonial. The Seahawks drive to the top of the conference took a detour in Saturday's 85-76 defeat at Drexel. The Dragons led by eight at the half and both teams traded baskets over the final 20 minutes. UNCW sank shots at 43% with 15 extra shots but even that wasn't enough to compete with the Dragons 60% shooting. Craig Ponder was the go to scorer with 22 points on 7-12 from the field followed by a 19 point, five yank night from Addison Spruill. Jordan Talley added 16 points while Dylan Sherwood and Cedrick Williams netted eight points each and combined for 13 boards.

The James Madison Dukes have been fairly consistent in 2014-15 thus far and their reward is 4th in the Colonial at 6-4. The Dukes had an opportunity to make a huge impact in the connference by taking down top dog William & Mary but instead came up short in an 84-65 defeat on Saturday. The Tribe but all thoughts of an upset away early with a 21 point lead at intermission and the Dukes 44% shooting wasn't enough to keep up despite 14 threes because W&M connected at 60% from the floor and sank eleven bombs of their own. Jackson Kent led a trio of double digit scorers with 19 points with a 6-9 performance from long range while Ron Curry added 16 points, six boards and six helpers. Winston Grays netted 12 points followed by Yohanny Dalembert and Joey McLean with eight points each and 13 boards.
