The Central Michigan Chippewas face instate and conference rival the Western Michigan Broncos.

The Western Michigan Broncos were viewed as one of the top teams in the MAC until dropping three in a row. The Broncos broke their slide with a 67-66 victory versus visiting Kent State on Wednesday but the question is whether they can build on that win or is there deeper issues. On paper WMU hit half their looks with the Zips connecting at 40.7% but Akron held a 13-6 advantage from long range to keep things close. Tucker Haymond gave the Broncos 17 points on 8-11 accuracy while Connar Tava and David Brown dropped 16 points apiece. Kellen McCormick chipped in with eight points while Thomas Wilder and Taylor Perry provided some muscle on the glass with a combined 15 rbounds.

Central Michigan Chippewas vs. Western Michigan Broncos - 2/7/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Central Michigan Chippewas have their sights set on the MAC West title but have dropped two of three to fall to second in the division behind Toledo. The Broncos are looking to bounce back from a 76-74 overtime loss at the hands of visiting Bowling Green on Wednesday. It was a sloppy contest with a combined 40 turnovers with the Falcons burning the nets at nearly 53% while the Chips countered with 41% and stayed competitive with 13 more looks at the basket. Chris Fowler carried the Chippewas offense with a game high 42 points on 14-23 from the field befor fouling out in 42 minutes. John Simons and Josh Kozinski netted ten and eight points with Simons posting seven boards with the rest of the team adding 14 points.

The Broncos are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games following a ATS loss and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. win while going 5-14 ATS in their last 19 Saturday games. The Chippewas are 3-1-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss and are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 home games while going 13-6-2 ATS in their last 21 games following a ATS loss. I'm not sure who wins but I am sure I want the points...
