Iowa State shot 41.7% from the field and 33.3% (7-21) from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Cyclones was Georges Niang who had 24 points, 6 rebounds, and 5 assists. Iowa State is ranked 14th in the RPI Standings and has played the 22nd ranked SOS. On the season, the Cyclones have been led by Georges Niang (15.6 ppg, 5.4 rpg, 3.5 apg) and Bryce Dejean-Jones (12.9 ppg, 6.0 rpg, 1.5 spg). Iowa State is averaging 80.1 ppg (ranked 14th) on 48.6% shooting (ranked 14th). The Cyclones average 17.8 apg (ranked 1st) and have a 1.56 assist/turnover ratio (ranked 6th).  Iowa State is holding their opponents to an average of 69.5 ppg (ranked 261st) on 41.9% shooting (ranked 137th). The Cyclones are allowing teams to shoot 34.6% from beyond the arc (ranked 220th) and gran 36.43 total rpg (ranked 86th).

The Red Raiders are 4-12 ATS in their last 16 vs. the Big 12 and 3-7 ATS in their last 10 games overall.  The Cyclones are 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games following a S.U. loss and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall.

Although this does seem like a lot of points to give Texas Tech as they not only beat Iowa State at home about two weeks ago, but also are coming off an impressive victory against a tough Kansas State Wildcats team, Texas Tech is a completely different team when they are on the road. Iowa State is extremely tough to handle at Hilton Coliseum and as Texas Tech have lost their last 4 Big 12 away games by an average of 24 points, I'm backing Iowa State in this one. Take Iowa State to win big and cover in this one.
