The Clemson Tigers get set to meet the Hurricanes on Sunday night. The Tigers have an identical record to the Hurricanes right now, but the Tigers have done a bit better in conference, earning them the seventh position overall. Clemson is strong on the boards, but the Tigers aren’t turning those rebounds into points on a consistent basis, as the Tigers are scoring just 63 points per outing, while barely shooting better than 41 percent from the floor. The Tigers have been getting wins however, as Clemson has won four straight heading into Sunday’s showdown with the Hurricanes.
The Clemson Tigers are 10-8 against the spread this season, while Miami has an ATS record of 9-10-1 this year. The Hurricanes are also tough to back after a loss, as Miami is 1-4-1 against the spread this season the next outing after a loss, while the Tigers are 5-5 ATS following a win.
I would love to be getting three buckets with the Tigers here, but even as the line stands now, I have to take Clemson. This game really is looking like a toss up to me, and getting more than two buckets in a game that could go either way looks like the right side to be on.
