The Central Michigan Chippewas are an impressive 16-5 overall and 6-4 in the conference with the number seven offense in the land doing the heavy lifting at 81 points per contest. The Chippewas are looking to build on a 70-65 win over visiting Western Michigan with a big second half rallying the team from a nine point deficit at intermission. The Broncos shot the ball well at 48% and won the glass 36-26 but CMU rode 43% shooting, ten bombs and a 14-5 edge at the stripe to the win. Chris Fowler gave the offense with 17 points and nine assists on 8-18 from the floor followed by a 13 point effort from Rayshawn Simmons. Austin Stewart netted eleven points and posted six pulls while John Simons and Braylon Rayson combined for 17 points.

The Ohio Bobcats are not challenging for the MAC title with a 4-6 conference record but they have shown over the past few weeks that they are capable of doing some damage. The Bobcats have shown some life in posting back to back victories after downing Eatern Michigan 76-73 in a pick 'em. Ohio nearly coughed up a nine point lead despite holding a 47%-39.7% shooting advantage with 15 turnovers giving the Eagles seven more attempts giving EMU enough opportunities to keep things close. The Bobcats receved 22 points and from Javarez Willis on 8-18 froom the floor with Maurice Ndour adding 16 points and nine rebounds. Antonio Campbell gave Ohio some punch on the glass with eleven points and 12 rebounds while Treg Setty and Stevie Taylor scored seven points each with Setty posting six boards.
