Wyoming Cowboys (20-6) at Nevada Wolf Pack (8-16)

College Basketball: Tuesday, February 17, 2015 at 10:00 pm (Lawlor Events Center)

The Line: Nevada Wolf Pack +2.5 -- Over/Under: See the Latest Odds

The Nevada Wolf Pack and the Wyoming Cowboys clash in a MWC contest at the Lawlor Events Center.

The Wyoming Cowboy are an outstanding 20-6 and occupy second in the Mountain West but the concern for this team is when and if does Larry Nance Jr. return from a bout with Mono. Their success going forward depends on the health of do it all leader although he wasn't missed (needed) in Saturday's 77-60 rout of struggling San Jose State. Once the Cowboys lead reched double figures this game was in the bag with the Spartans unable to keep up with less then 33% shooting while Wyoming fired away at 56% which added up to 12 more field goals. Josh Adams did it all with 26 points, six boards and seven helpers followed by Ryan Grabau with 12 points. Derek Cooke Jr. and Alan Herndon combined for 21 points while Jason McManamen and Charles Hankerson Jr. tossed in eight points each.

Nevada Wolf Pack vs. Wyoming Cowboys - 2/17/15 College Basketball Pick, Odds, and Prediction

The Nevada Wolf Pack look like they will escape the Mountain West basement by default if nothing else with San Jose State being the lone competition. The Wolf Pack have been competitive at time although not consistent but perhaps the big come from behind 66-63overtime victory versus visiting New Mexico is the spark that propels this team going forward. The Lobos led by 12 at the break and needed a late three to go to the extra session before 34.5% shooting finally caught up to them. Nevada hit at 39.7% with a few more free throws providing the final margin. Marquize Coleman poured in a game high 24 points on 7-10 from the field while Eric Cooper Jr. added 14 points and five yanks. AJ West followed with 12 points and 17 rebounds with Tyron Criswell tossing in eleven points and posting five assists.

The Cowboys are 2-7-1 ATS in their last 10 road games and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 Tuesday games. Wyoming are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a ATS loss and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. win. This game has been extremely close lately but Nevada is not a great team and Wyoming is handicapped with out Nance. Yoo many questions for my liking...
