The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks try their hand at slowing down the surging Bowling Green Falcons at the Stroh Center.
The Miami (Ohio) Redhawks are going are going nowhere in the MAC as they reside in the East basement although I would say they have played their share of close ones. The Redhawks don't have a big offense and can be scored on so their chance os success dimiishes the closer the score gets to 70. After a pair of one point defeats the Redhawks pounded out a 77-66 win over Ohio on Saturday behind a 39-25 second half run. Ohio shot the ball well at 45.7% but Miami (Ohio) connected at 55% and dominated the foul lline 18-2 to win it. Eric Washington and Geovonie McKnight paced the attack with 17 points with Will Sullivan scoring 15 points. Zach McCormick chipped in with ten points while right players found the scoring column.

The Bowling Green Falcons have been the dominant squad in the MAC East with a 9-3 record with two of those defeats coming to second place Akron. The Falcons have scored at times but their forte' is defense with the number 23 ranked unit allowing 59 points.
