The Detroit Titans will travel to the Resch Center to take on the Green Bay Phoenix this Wednesday night in College Basketball action.

The Detroit Titans dropped to 12-16 (5-8 Horizon) on the season after being defeated by the Oakland Golden Grizzlies, 83-78, this past Sunday. Detroit shot 48.3% from the field and 41.2% (7-17) from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Titans was Paris Bass who had 28 points, 6 rebounds, and 2 assists. Detroit is ranked 226th in the RPI Standings and has played the 155th ranked SOS. On the season, the Titans have been led by Juwan Howard Jr. (17.8 ppg, 4.3 rpg, 2.5 apg) and Paris Bass (12.6 ppg, 5.8 rpg, 1.8 apg). USA TODAY Sports

The Green Bay Phoenix dropped to 20-6 (9-3 Horizon) on the season after being defeated by the Valparaiso Crusaders, 63-59, this past Friday. Green Bay shot 32.7% from the field and 33.3% (5-15) from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Phoenix was Carrington Love who had 15 points, 4 rebounds, and 3 steals. Green Bay is ranked 53rd in the RPI Standings and has played the 156th ranked SOS. On the season, the Phoenix have been led by Keifer Sykes (17.6 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 3.9 apg) and Greg Mays (11.2 ppg, 4.6 rpg, 1.5 bpg). Green Bay is averaging 68.1 ppg (ranked 156th) on 46.2% shooting (ranked 61st). The Phoenix average 4.4 three-pointers per game (ranked 322nd) and have an assist/turnover ratio of 1.11 (ranked 109th). Green Bay is holding their opponents to an average of 59.8 ppg (ranked 27th) on 40.1% shooting (ranked 66th). The Phoenix average 5.2 bpg (ranked 25th) and 7.6 spg (ranked 48th).

The Titans are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 road games. The Phoenix are 15-6 ATS in their last 21 home games vs. a team with a losing road record however, just 1-5 ATS in their last 6 games overall.

Detroit fell short in their comeback bid at Oakland and have now lost 4 of their last 5 games. Green Bay lost control of first-place in the Horizon as they lost a key match-up against Valpo. Although Detroit is only 2-6 in their last 8, they recently beat a very good Cleveland State team at home and were competitive at Oakland which is a very tough place to play. I really like Green Bay and their defensive, however, their star point guard Keifer Sykes is questionable with a thumb injury, and if he isn't available the Phoenix could really struggle on the offensive end. Due to the questionable status with Keifer Sykes, I'm probably going to stay away from this one however, if I was going to put something down, I would go with Detroit and the points in this one.
