USA TODAY Sports

The Oregon State Beavers dropped to 16-9 (7-6 Pac-12) on the season after being defeated by the USC Trojans, 68-55, this past Saturday. Oregon State shot 32.8% from the field and 29.4% (5-17) from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Beavers was Langston Morris-Walker who had 17 points, 5 rebounds, and 2 steals. Oregon State is ranked 84th in the RPI Standings and has played the 124th ranked SOS. On the season, the Beavers have been led by Gary Payton II (13.1 ppg, 7.9 rpg, 3.0 spg) and Victor Robbins (10.3 ppg, 3.5 rpg, 0.9 spg). Oregon State is averaging 61.6 ppg (ranked 308th) on 42.8% shooting (ranked 212th). The Beavers are committing 12.2 turnovers per game (ranked 120th) and have an assist/turnover ratio of 1.01 (ranked 165th).  Oregon State is holding their opponents to an average of 57.5 ppg (ranked 14th) on 37.6% shooting (ranked 8th).  The Beavers are holding teams to 29.4% shooting from beyond the arc (ranked 16th) and average 7.8 spg (ranked 40th).

The Utes are 3-0-1 ATS in their last 4 games following a ATS loss and 6-2-1 ATS in their last 9 road games. The Beavers are 6-1 ATS in their last 7 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 22-7-2 ATS in their last 31 home games.

Utah has won four in a row and will look to continue to keep pace with Arizona at the top of the Pac-12 standings. Oregon State looked sluggish on the defensive end in back to back road losses to UCLA and USC and will be looking forward to playing back home at the Gill Coliseum. Utah is one of the best teams in the country as they can really get it done at both ends however, it's hard to ignore the fact that Oregon State is 14-0 at home on this season with a win against Arizona. I think Oregon State puts the defensive pressure on Utah in this one and although I don't think they'll win, I think they will keep it within the number. Take Oregon State and the points in this one.
