The Boise State Broncos take the hardwood with the New Mexico Lobos at the Taco Bell Arena.
The New Mexico Lobos will win the Mountain West only if they capture the title through the conference playoffs so the goal is to finish the the regular season on a high not and gain as much momentum as possible. Unfotunately the Lobos are struggling with six consecutive defeats after a 76-68 loss to visiting UNLV on Saturday. UNM needs to control the scoreboard to succeed which didn't happen with the Rebels sinking shots at 54% including a 10-17 mark on threes. The Lobos countered at 43% and stayed competitive with a 21-12 edge at the line which was their only real advantage in the boxscore. Obij Aget led three double digit scorers with 14 points and eight boards while Hugh Greenwood and Devon Williams netted 13 points apiece.

The Boise State Broncos have their destiny in their own hands as they will finish the season no worse then third in the Mountain West with a sweep of the remaining three games on the schedule. The Broncos have won back to back contests after Saturday's 78-46 rout of visiting Nevada where they jumped to an 18 point lead at the half and kept up the pressure until the final buzzer. The Wolf Pack never got their offense going on 36.5% shooting and 16 turnovers while the Broncos fired away at almost 57% including a 10-23 effort from beyond the arc. James Webb III led all scorers with 22 points and seven boards followed by Derrick Marks with 18 points and five helpers. Boise State went to their bench early and often with ten players scoring overall.
The Lobos are 12-4 ATS in their last 16 road games vs. a team with a winning home record and 13-5 ATS in their last 18 road games. New Mexico are 46-22-1 ATS in their last 69 vs. Mountain West and 35-17-1 ATS in their last 53 road games vs. a team with a home winning % of greater than .600. The Broncos are 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400 and 6-0 ATS in their last 6 home games. Boise State are 6-0 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 5-0 ATS in their last 5 home games vs. a team with a losing road record. It's tough for me to lay this many points but these teams are heading in opposite directions...
