The Ohio Bobcats host instate and conference rival the Bowling Green Falcons on Tuesday night.
The Bowling Green Falcons grip on first in the MAC East is no more with the team falling to second behind Akron after suffering back to back home losses to Miami (Ohio) and then Buffalo on Saturday as a two point favorite. However it was the Bulls who played like the fave with a 14 point lead at the intermission which was never challenged. The Falcons owned a 40%-35.7% shooting advantage but UB sank five more threes and seven more free throws while holding a 38-28 edge on the backboards. Richaun Holmes was the Falcons best offensive option with 15 points and seven rebounds on 7-10 from the field with Jehvon Clarke adding 12 points and eight boards. Spencer Parker and Delvin Dickerson netted eleven and ten points respectively but the rest of the team scored only eight points.

It's been a tough year for the Ohio Bobcats who bring up the rear in the MAC East as season one of rebuilding is drawing to a close. The Bobcats have seen their chances at a winning campaign go by the wayside over the last few weeks with four consecutive defeats where their scoring has been way down. The Kent State Golden Flashes kept the offense in a funk following a 64-51 decision on the road Saturday with 35% shooting allowed including a 2-12 mark on threes. The Bobcats held the Golden Flashes to 38% marksmanship but a 7-18 performance from distance and a 17-20 effort at the charity stripe did plenty of damage. Antonio Campbell gave the offense 14 points and ten rebounds on 6-15 from the floor while Stevie Taylor tossed in 13. Maurice Ndour added 12 points and seven boards with Javarez Willis chipping in with seven.
The Falcons are 4-0 ATS in their last 4 road games and 8-1-3 ATS in their last 12 Tuesday games. BGSU are 4-1-2 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss and 16-4-1 ATS in their last 21 road games vs. a team with a winning home record. The Bobcats are 28-13 ATS in their last 41 home games vs. a team with a winning road record and 16-35 ATS in their last 51 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. Ohio are 4-11 ATS in their last 15 games vs. a team with a winning % above .600 and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss. The Falcons have dropped their last two at home and Ohio has lost four in a row so something has to give. Hopefully BGSU shows up here...
