The Air Force Falcons duke it out with the Nevada Wolf Pack at Clune Arena in Mountain West action.
The Nevada Wolf Pack are probably happy they share the Mountain West with San Jose State or they would occupy the conference basement. The Wolf Pack have struggled because of a lack of scoring and in Saturday's 78-46 defeat at Boise State the defense added to the problem. The Broncos exploded to a 44-26 lead after 20 minutes and were never challenged with nearly 57% marksmanship and a 10-23 effort on threes doing too much damage. On the flip side, Nevada sank shots at a 36.5% clipand were 1-12 on threes while giving the ball away 16 times. DJ Fenner was the only double digit scorer with 13 points on 5-13 from the floor with Tyron Criswell tossing in nine points. AJ West supplied six points and a game high nine rebounds but just one player shot the ball at better then 50%.

The Air Force Falcons are the very definition of a team that plays well on their own floor but struggle on the road. The 12-14 Falcons are 10-4 at home and might be a top four Mountain West squad if every game was played at Clune Arena. AFA could not build on their home win against UNLV and lost at Colorado State 66-53 on Saturday as they fell behind by 13 points at the half way point and never mounted any type of comeback. Both teams sank shots in the 43% range but the difference came at the charity stripe where Colorado State turned 20 Falcons personals in to a huge 15-2 advantage. Marek Olesinski was the only player to reach double digits in scoring with eleven points on 4-9 from the field while Zack Kocur and Hayden Graham combined for 17 points with Kocur grabbing a team high seven rebounds.
The Wolf Pack are 4-10 ATS in their last 14 games following a ATS loss and 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games vs. a team with a losing S.U. record. Nevada are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games overall and 1-4 ATS in their last 5 vs. Mountain West. The Falcons are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games vs. a team with a winning % below .400 and 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Wednesday games. Air Force are 2-5 ATS in their last 7 games following a S.U. loss and 2-6 ATS in their last 8 games following a ATS loss. I think Air Force is the better team but I'm not anxious to bet the chalk...
