The Multipurpose Activity Center and the Monmouth Hawks look to close the regular season with a win against the Siena Saints.
The Siena Saints don't have a postseason invitation waiting for them unless they can somehow get hot and win the conference playoffs. That scenario doesn't seem likely as the Saints head in to the regular season finale' having lost eight of ten. Quinnipiac held off a late rally to down the Saints 73-63 Friday as a 17 point Bobcats lead at the half was a winner. Neither team shot the ball well with Siena holding a slight 33%-31% advantage but the Bobcats turned 25 personals in to a 27-12 edge which was the difference. Evan Hymes was the go to scorer with 20 points on 8-13 from the floor with Marquis Wright adding 14 points, nine rebounds and seven assists. Three players scored between 6-7 points but Hymes was the only one to approach 50% shooting.

The Monmouth Hawks are tied in the standings with Manhattan at 12-6 with third and 4th place at stake heading in to the last game of the year. The Hawks were challenging for second before back to back losses to Iona and Rider by a combined four points ruined those plans. The Hawks come off of a 63-60 loss to the Broncs as a three point home favorite on Thursday where the respective defenses controlled the scoreboard. Rider held a 37.7%-35% shooting advantage which gave the offense a few more baskets to help squeeze this one out. Justin Robinson gave the Hawks 15 points on 4-11 shooting with Deon Jones adding 12 points and six boards on 2-5 accuracy. Zac Tillman rounded out the top contributors with ten points and eight rebounds but the offense obviously needed better shooting to prevail.
The Saints are 1-4 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games overall. Siena are 0-4 ATS in their last 4 vs. Metro Atlantic Athletic and 0-4 ATS in their last 4 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record. The Hawks are 1-3-1 ATS in their last 5 games following a S.U. loss and 2-6-1 ATS in their last 9 home games while going 1-4-1 ATS in their last 6 home games vs. a team with a road winning % of less than .400. Siena might cover or even win but I have sworn off their games because they can't be predicted...
