The Seton Hall Pirates improved to 16-12 (6-10 Big East) on the season after defeating the Creighton Bluejays, 67-66, this past Saturday. Seton Hall shot 46.6% from the field and 45.5% (5-11) from beyond the arc in the victory. Leading the way for the Pirates was Angel Delgado who had 13 points, 11 rebounds, and 2 blocks. Seton Hall is ranked 72nd in the RPI Standings and has played the 64th ranked SOS. On the season, the Pirates have been led by Sterling Gibbs (16.7 ppg, 2.0 rpg, 3.7 apg) and Isaiah Whitehead (12.5 ppg, 3.9 rpg, 3.4 apg). Seton Hall is averaging 68.9 ppg (ranked 138th) on 41.9% shooting (ranked 261st). The Pirates average 6.9 three-pointers per game (ranked 117th) and have an assist/turnover ratio of 0.97 (ranked 195th). Seton Hall is holding their opponents to an average of 67.0 ppg (ranked 191st) on 42.3% shooting (ranked 144th). The Pirates pull down 37.18 total rpg (ranked 49th) and hold opponents to 28.4% shooting from beyond the arc (ranked 8th).

The Friars are 5-2 ATS in their last 7 Wednesday games and 13-6-1 ATS in their last 20 games following a S.U. win. The Pirates are 10-4 ATS in their last 14 games following a S.U. win however, just 1-5-1 ATS in their last 7 games overall.

Providence was able to bounce back from their loss against Villanova with a solid win against Marquette in which they were able to force the Golden Flashes into committing 15 turnovers. Seton Hall snapped a 6 game losing streak as they were able to outrebound Creighton by a 41-31 margin. Seton Hall should get their leading scorer, Sterling Gibbs, back for this one as he has been suspended the last two games due to throwing a punch in their Villanova game on Feb. 14th. Seton Hall looked as if they were going to be a Big East contender earlier this season, but really struggled in the 2nd half of the season as Isaiah Whitehead was out due to injury and for the fact that one of their starters, Jaren Sina, decided to leave the team. Providence on the other hand has had a great season and has two of the better players in the Big East in LaDontae Henton and Kris Dunn. Although Seton hall will be getting Gibbs back, I just can't back them with how they have played since the beginning of February. I think Henton and Dunn will have big games and that Providence covers this line as a road favorite. Take Providence to cover!
