TCU shot 45.1% from the field and 30.8% (4-13) from beyond the arc in the loss. Leading the way for the Horned Frogs was Kyan Anderson who had 23 points, 4 rebounds, and 4 assists. On the season, the Horned Frogs have been led by Kyan Anderson (13.5 ppg, 1.3 rpg, 4.3 apg) and Trey Zeigler (9.5 ppg, 4.2 rpg, 2.1 apg). The Cyclones are 4-1 ATS in their last 5 games vs. a team with a winning S.U. record and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 Saturday games. The Horned Frogs are 5-1 ATS in their last 6 games overall and 4-1 ATS in their last 5 home games.
Iowa State had one of the more impressive second half's of the season outscoring Oklahoma by a 59-33 margin to overcome a 19 point half-time deficit for the victory. TCU couldn't contain Oklahoma State from beyond the arc as they allowed the Cowboys to shoot 64.7% (11-17) as the Cowboys pulled away in the second half. Iowa State is one of the more exciting teams to watch as they play with high energy and have multiple weapons on the offensive end. TCU will depend on their defense and playmaker, Kyan Anderson to win ball games. Although I really do like this Iowa State team, they've shown that can be inconsistent, especially on the road as they've dropped games to both Texas Tech and Kansas State this season when away from Hilton Coliseum. TCH has dropped 3 of their last 4, however, plays well at home and has been quite competitive this year against the better teams of the Big 12. I think TCU will hang around in this one and I'm going to take the home team and points.
