Oklahoma State picked up a much needed victory to snap a four game losing streak and improve their chances to get into March Madness. West Virginia was without Juwan Staten in this one and it showed as the Mountaineers committed 22 turnovers and couldn't pull of the upset at Allen Fieldhouse even though they held Kansas to 0.0% (0-15) from beyond the arc. Oklahoma State has one of the better defensives in the Big-12, however, at time can to reliant on Nash and Forte III to provide all the offensive. West Virginia has arguably the best pressure defensive in all of college basketball as they will pressure you all game no matter where you are on the court. They key to beating West Virginia is to not to turn the ball over as West Virginia isn't great in half-court offense and can be scored upon if you get through their pressure. This is a big game for Oklahoma State as if they can pull the upset, they can probably feel that they are safely in the tournament, however, West Virginia has been playing great over the last few weeks, and although Staten is questionable with his knee injury, I feel that West Virginia will do enough to cover in this one. Take West Virginia to cover.
